Rabel 15000 Slim Super Thermal has been engineered to make large full glass facades spanning up to 6.5 meters from slap to slap without intermediate horizontal support members or transoms. In order to produce an interrupted all glass experience with the minimum of structural components the system was based on the spider clamped technology. This allows the use of double glass panes without the need to drill the glass thus offering a value for money solution without compromising thermal performance.

In its standard version it comes with a perimeter frame, that can be hidden in the building structure, allowing for water drainage inclusive of a channel at the bottom as well as expansion joints on the side. The system is comprised of four different supporting aluminium posts the use of which depends on the height of the facade as well as the wind load. The supporting brackets have been engineered to take the full glass weight without the need to park it on the floor. This is a must in cases where the floor standing glass panes of the façade are movable. In the frames a provision was taken to hide all the required brackets thus allowing the solution to be retrofitted as floor standing.

Unlike most spider solutions which offer only the option of fixed glass, Rabel 15000 Slim Super Thermal seamlessly integrates sliding units, bi –fold units, hinged doors, railings and shading devices while keeping the structure slim.
